Job Vacancy – Park and Playing Field Caretaker

Pennard Community Council are looking for an enthusiastic person to assist the Clerk with the management and general running of the park and playing field. The role entails Health and Safety checks, liaising with field users and minor general maintenance. Relevant training will be provided.

Hours of work: Hours will vary through the year depending on field use and will be split over 6 days; this will include evenings and MUST include Saturday.
The current commitment is a minimum of 8 hours per week however this is due to the football season continuing over the Summer due to Covid-19.
In normal times the role will demand more hours (approx. 8 per week) in the Football season and fewer (approx. 2 per week) during the Cricket Season,
Hours will be annualised and an average monthly salary will be paid.
Agreed overtime will be paid at the normal rate

Job Types: Part-time, permanent Contract.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, a genuine interest in the role is more important.

Salary: £10 per hour
